We all know the Lord’s ways are not the ways of the world. We should be in the world, but not of the world. How easy it sometimes is to get caught up in the world’s ways! I know I struggle with this many times myself. Satan tempts us with riches, tells us not to forgive in order to preserve our foolish pride. He reminds us of our many faults, and tells us we are weak and weary. Perhaps we should change our perspectives to learn to listen to God’s whisper and ignore Satan’s shouts! Hear the Lord whispering, “Don’t give up”? Can you hear Him tell you that you are still His child?
While the Devil is great at fueling our fire of sin, God is there to put us at ease. God reminds us that we have a hope and a future in Him.
